Le Riche Wines Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot 2001
This is a medium bodied elegant wine with subtle flavors, ample fruitiness and a dry finish. The lower acid content of the larger merlot berries contributes to the soft supple taste and the small thick skinned cabernet grapes provide the tannins and firm structure. Fermentation was done in traditional open tanks and maturation in 225L French oak barrels (second fill) for 12 months.
