Ripe red fruits underlined with nuances of plums and black berries are balanced with hints of oak on the nose.
The aromas are carried through onto the pallet and further supported by a fine soft tannin structure with hints of herbaceous Cabernet showing on the finish.

A difficult vintage which was characterized by sporadic rainfall during harvest made for challenging winemaking. The timing of harvest was crucial to producing wines of superior quality.
The wines were fermented separately in traditional open tanks with regular manual plunging. Blended after secondary fermentation and matured in French oak.
15 Months in 225 and 4500 litre, seasoned French oak barrels.
