Made from both Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, the Black Oystercatcher rosé is a light, fruity charmer.
Exquisitely pale pink, the wine is heady with loads of red berry fruit including strawberry as well as hints of pomegranate. This intense bouquet is the result of the unique manner in which the two varieties are interweaved. On the palate, the wine is dry, crisp and persistent, with a mineral backbone.
While perfect as a glass on its own, this wine will also pair well with with a wide range of dishes, from oak-smoked fillet of salmon to paté, to garden salads.
The Rose consists of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot.
