Last year’s inaugral event realised the vision – the list of producers represented a gathering that was the first of its kind. Pioneers of a new movement in winemaking where sustainable, organic or biodynamic practices are reverently carried out with minimal intervention. The 6 attending chefs embodied a diverse and dynamic approach to food creation. Working with open fire, pure ingredients and stripped-down technique, each chef created a single menu course that paid homage to the terroir and tastes of the Western Cape, resulting in a six-course tasting experience like no other.
