The Boekenhoutskloof Stellenbosch Cabernet is the culmination of this prestigious Franschhoek property’s insight and belief in the unique terroir and soils of the Helderberg region. The first bottling to join the prestigious Boekenhoutskloof range in more than a decade, and highly limited at that. A complex, perfumed nose with red fruits and a savoury nuance, fine, silky tannins and a wonderfully pedigree, lingering finish. Still in its youth, definitely a wine to mature in the cellar to allow it to reach its ultimate potential.
After 12 long years of making really good wines, for really nice people (Fleur du Cap and Boschendal), Thinus Kruger decided that it is time to make some even better wines for himself and a whole lot of other deserving people on this planet. His philosophy: a great wine is the secret behind a good mood. The Fram Pinotage 2013 acquired instant cult status after Jancis Robinson MW made it her “wine of the week” with a score of 17/20. The Maiden 2013 Chenin Blanc, Platter 5 Stars. Working with the best grapes available, Thinus is creating a great mood around the world!
