With its very concentrated deep red colour, the Cloof Wines Shiraz brandishes an intense bouquet of mulberry, clove, cinnamon and white pepper aromas. The palate is full in body with powerful spice and tar flavours, held up by grippy tannins. The juicy fruit in the mouth is balanced by oaky characters that are derived from the high quality French oak (33% new) that the wine matured in for 12 months.
Coriander- and cumin-spiced lamb chops with lemony couscous or a rich venison stew will make great partners to this enjoyable Shiraz.
