Allee Bleue

Based in the magnificent Franschhoek valley, the Allee Bleue wine estate was awarded in 1687 to German-born Peter Anderson, who arrived to the Cape through the Dutch East India Company. A mere three hundred years on and Allee Bleue has fallen back into the hands of the Germans, Wilfred and Elke Dauphin. After a much needed overhaul, the wine estate has embraced organic practices and other features such as a conference centre, restaurant, boutique hotel, and olive and wine tastings. Home to some of the world’s most fantastic wines, one of the Cape’s oldest wine farm’s rich soil has produced the likes of divine Pinotages, peppery Shiraz, delightful Chenin Blanc, and a delicate Rosé MCC, among others.
