Ripe plum and blackberry aromas form the nose of this Shiraz at first, followed by subtle notes of white pepper. These follow through as flavours on the palate, which also exhibits well-incorporated oak and rounded tannins. The finish is delightfully gentle. Maturation occurred for 15 months in oak, contributing towards a wine that can be savoured at present or cellared for 3 to 5 years.
Pair the Grande Provence Shiraz with game dishes, red meats with a pepper sauce, or with charcuterie and smoked meats.
