Maredsous Bruin is an Authentic Belgian Bruin Abbey Beer, and forms part of the heritage of monks brewing fine beers at their monasteries. Each bottle is the result of marrying barley malt, dark roast barley malt, yeast, Saaz-Saaz and Styrian Golding hops. Displaying a burgundy colour, this beer offers a comforting nose of burnt/roasted notes with hints of dark chocolate and coffee. The palate showcases caramel flavours alongside touches of dark fruits and chocolate. A bitterness which derives from the nuttiness of the beer flows through to the finish, complementing the roast flavour of the dark malt along the way.
