This is a bold, meaty wine with an intoxicating nose that includes raspberry, chocolate, cigar box and gamy meat. On the palate, which is pleasingly firm, are notes of oak with ripe fruit. Good tannic structure leads to a long finish.
The wine will mature for up to 8 years from vintage.
