Spioenkop Wines‘1900’ Pinotage 2019
Availability: 2 in stock
The grapes for this Pinotage are bought in Stellenbosch (Bottelary Hills) and were grown on a sandstone / granite soil. No own Elgin grapes, hence why it is released under the ‘1900’ range. Fermented with 20% whole bunches and aged for 10 months in 55% new wood, this is juicy plum and raspberry fruit, fine tannins and stony freshness. A medium bodied wine with a dense, pure and wonderful acidity.
