A vibrant plum rim welcomes one to the glass. A delicate waxy prune on the nose and a lovely intriguing savouriness. On the palette there are generous lashings of spice and charcuterie, with subtle hints of macerated fruits, combining beautifully. A great vibrant depth and a pleasing suppleness to the wine. A wine for friends and family and perhaps even the in-laws.
