TokaraDirector's Reserve Red 2017

You will find a most exceptional Bordeaux-style blend in Tokara’s Director’s Reserve Red. Winner of a double gold at the Veritas Wine Awards for the 2011 vintage, it was also rated 4.5 stars by Platter’s Wine Guide.

The wine appears as a clear dark garnet colour. Classic aromas of intoxicating black berries, dark cherries and cassis fill the nose. These notes are uplifted by herbaceous nuances as well as tomato leaf, tomato puree and just a touch of mint. There is fantastic follow-through of these characters onto the palate. A muscular entry and dry-textured tannins lead to a graceful finish.
