This wine provide something different for red wine lovers as it is rare to find a red that focusses on this cultivar. The Raats Dolomite Cabernet Franc is filled with dark, sour cherry aromas on the nose. On the palate there is a herbaceousness, along with flavours of spice and dark berries that persist at the close of each sip. There is just a touch of wet-stone minerality and good clarity of fruit. The finish is silky soft. Enjoy it with pork loin with plum and Armagnac sauce, Springbok, game birds, Karoo lamb or hard cheeses.
