A brilliant crimson-edged red-purple in colour, the Boplaas Cape Ruby Port has a bouquet that is abundant with black hedgerow fruit, sweet apricot, delicate spice, ripe plum and touches of fynbos. The palate teems with kirsch prune, blackberries, sweet plum and mulling spices. This wine offers a skillful balance of fruit flavours, juicy tannins, spice and dashes of oak, all culminating in a very accessible and adaptable style of Cape Ruby.
