The label of the Springfield Estate Miss Lucy bears the image of a Red Stumpnose as this wine is a tribute to the bounty of the sea. “Miss Lucy” is a nickname for this critically endangered fish. Like all of the grapes used in Springfield’s wines, the individual cultivars of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Pinot Gris are harvested from single vineyards. The wine explodes with grapefruit on the nose, followed by more crisp grapefruit on the palate, with added melon.
