The House Of Krone has been treating their loyal followers for years to a Méthode Cap Classique version of a Chardonnay Pinot Noir and decided it was high time to add a still edition. Displaying a brilliant straw colour with coppery nunaces, the wine is rich and intense with subtle red berry flavours from the Pinot Noir and expresses a snappish acidity as a result of the Chardonnay portion. On the mid-palate there is a lovely nutty character, while the acid adds an invigorating backbone, making this blend the perfect partner to a range of foods.
A blend of 60% Chardonnay from Tulbagh and 40% Pinot Noir from Elgin, showing a bright straw color with coppery reflections not too dissimilar of Pinot Grigio from Europe.
