This Swartland Chein Blanc is produced from granite soils planted in the late 1970’s. The grapes is handled with minimum intervention and whole bunch basket pressed, old oak barrels, native yeasts and no additives is used to produce. The wine shows subtle mineral tones, hay, white fruit, fennel bulb and nut flesh to the nose. The palate shows excellent fruit concentration and acidity, before very persistent, saline finish. This wine is very clear, which is finely textured and detailed with a vein of acidity running through.
