Typical Cabernet notes of dark berry fruit with dashes of violets and bitter chocolate tempt the nose. The palate displays opulent and silky tannins, providing good balance.
The wine spent a little over a year in French oak barrels, of which 25% were new.
While it is drinking well at present, patience will reward those who choose to cellar it. The Villiera Cabernet Sauvignon can be kept for up to 10 years under optimal conditions.
