Zevenwacht Wine Estate
Perched upon the rolling vineyard-laden Stellenbosch hills, Zevenwacht Wine Estate has a rich 300-year history. The wine estate’s name is derived from Dutch to mean “Seven Expectations”. The Zevenwacht wine farm is currently family-owned and run since 1992 by Harold and Denise Johnson. They place the utmost attention to detail and a heavy focus on sustainability. This dedication extends to the conference venues, the stunning accommodation, and the Zevenwacht Country Restaurant. Zevenwacht garners most of its white wine from the vineyard on the estate while gathering another portion of the supply from the Zevenrivieren farm, which supplies amazing diverse grapes. The most notable of their 14 single-varietal and blend wines is the Sauvignon Blanc that claimed a double-gold from Veritas in 2010.
