The Chamonix Reserve White is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. It’s definitely one to buy and add to your cellar as its 2013 vintage was placed in the Top 100 SA Wines, and it has a good ageing potential for a white wine. Drinking well at present, it will be at its best around 5 years after release. Holding a pale straw colour, the wine expresses a bouquet infused with exotic spice, thyme, grapefruit and figs. A rounded, full palate follows with a luscious fruity feeling and a distinct minerality that is offset by a racy acidity.
